I wholeheartedly endorse Bill Potts. He recently helped us make some improvements to an existing unit that needed updating to meet changes in the code since it was installed 10 years ago. He cheerfully and promptly returned three times in two days to address several minor issues left behind by the original company that installed it.

Last July Bill Potts installed the ductless mini-split heat pumps in my sculpture studio. Also, he replaced the compressor unit in our condo, and repaired the compressors in Karen’s rent house and at my (former) shared studio. He’s always done quality work at a reasonable price, supports his customers by responding rapidly to their needs (with same day or next day service), is very reliable and has a great sense of humor. Enough said.

For almost a decade I have trusted my heating and cooling systems to Bill Potts. Not only is he a man of integrity and skill, but is easy going and pleasant. He makes the safety and comfort of my family and tenants a top priority.

I heard about Bill Potts on the Travis Heights neighborhood list and held onto his name for when I needed AC help. After sweating it out for a couple of months, thinking the AC just couldn’t keep up with the triple-digit temperatures we have this year, I decided to give him a call. He told us that the air intake we had was undersized for the furnace in our condo and suggested in inexpensive solution: to have a handyman cut a hole in the wall on the side for another register (which Potts supplied). Then he inspected the compressor under the building and let us know it needed replacement. For a reasonable charge, we got a new unit installed the next day. Having cool air in which to live and work makes an enormous difference. I shouldn’t have waited so long to call BP Heating & Air.

Bill is cheerful, prompt and sincerely concerned with delivering quality service at the lowest price. for example, in response to an ominous rattle in our condenser unit, he installed a brick on top of the cage, which halted the noise. he didn’t even charge for a service call. we use him for our business air conditioners now as well.

BP Heating & Air replaced my air conditioner and duct work during my house remodel. Mr. Potts provided excellent service from the beginning to the end. He clearly identified the options, installed the system on schedule, and followed up to ensure my satisfaction. His service was beyond my expectation. Integrity. Reliability. Service.
I met Bill Potts through the list serve several years ago. He has been keeping my air conditioning going with duct tape and bailing wire until such time as I can afford a new compressor. Things were so desperate this summer that I needed the income from two roommates to keep my home out of foreclosure. Had I not had AC, I could have kissed the roommates goodbye. Had I not had the roommates, I could have kissed my home goodbye. Just knowing that there people out there like him who are so caring and kind gives me the strength to persevere. He is a saint!

I called Bill Potts — 789-5525 cell — to fix our heater. He came out, quickly found a hidden wire that had been chewed by a creature, got us running on the eve of our 1/4 inch blizzard, and told me that despite the heater’s age it may still get us many years more of service. I think many others might have just said it’s time for the $1900 replacement job.

Someone on the [neighborhood email] list referred me to Bill Potts. I could not have been happier. Such a nice gentleman.
